MOL Group's consumer services: Evolution towards a world-class data-driven operation and culture.

At the capacity attendance Budapest BI Forum conference, our colleague Andor Havasi, Analytics BU Director at Stratis, and our client István Mag, Head of Digital Factory at MOL Group, delivered lectures. The digital transformation of MOL Group's consumer services started two years ago. While the transformation is mostly focused on their customers, one of our goals in working together was to transform MOL's operations into a fully data-centered business. Since the beginning of 2018, we have made great progress, and our presentation gave the attendees some insight into what we have achieved so far and outlined the future state we are aiming to attain.

Andor Havasi has been involved in several IT system implementation projects as a senior consultant at Stratis since 2007, as well as in IT organization and process design. Afterwards, his activities focused on the management of Stratis' solution delivery projects such as the implementation of the HungaroControl financial, controlling, HR and technical data warehouse and the creation of the MOL retail data warehouse. From 2020, he supported Stratis's work for several years with the professional planning, supervision and project management of BI projects, until he became the Director of the Analytics business unit, responsible for the management and further development of the data management area.
